With the headquarters in Osaka, Japan and a global presence, the time was right to create a unified and consistent image, strategically anchored by a new brand vision, to build positive perceptions and improve recognition across all key audiences.

Daikin Chemicals hired K2 Brand to develop and manage the branding process while working closely with brand team members at Daikin Chemicals.  Beginning with a global communications audit, K2 Brand identified opportunities in the areas of brand architecture, messaging and visual branding.  To fully understand brand perceptions and opportunities, K2 Brand conducted extensive interviews with both internal stakeholders and with customers and prospects in Japan, the United States and Europe.

“Positively Innovative.”

The core idea of Positively Innovative represents Daikin Chemicals’ optimistic approach to providing innovative solutions to customers.  A new visual branding system was developed to bring the brand strategy to life through design, imagery and a style that is uniquely Daikin Chemicals.
